Just Do It
I’ve been finding pockets of boldness as of late and I am on this journey to get to a place where the boldness never subsides, and it is always there. It requires something different of me. It requires for me to step out of my comfort zone and place myself in situations and spaces to where I really am walking by faith. Trusting God in everything is a different kind of life. There is a level of vulnerability that I must tap into that honestly, I didn’t even know I had. But I am making decisions from a place of “No Matter What!” No matter what it looks like. No matter how I feel. No matter what people say. No matter the obstacle. No matter what! It is necessary to push through to get to the other side.
I know that the first half of the year has not been easy for most and if you are paying any attention to the things of the world then it is possible to feel discouraged about the future, but I was reminded today that God’s promises are SURE! Nothing can get in the way of me being all that God has called me to be and doing all that God has called me to do except for myself. What we cannot do today is give up when we are so close to walking in this newfound space of faith. What we cannot do is pretend that you are not needed and ignore the very voice on the inside that is calling you into a higher space because of fear and uncertainty.
I am tired of fear trying to rule my life. So, I won’t keep giving it the power. No, I won’t stay stagnant, and I can no longer afford to stay here, and I feel like I am always talking about, or reminding myself that I can no longer stay in this space but now I have to literally be about that action. We talk a good game, but it is time to back that game up with action! Let’s not have another conversation about what we wanna do or gonna do but let’s put things into motion.
I read in my study bible A Goal is just a dream with a deadline! Put a date on it. Make it real. Paul says in Phil 3:14 “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me!” He says in 1 Corinthians to run the race in such a way to get the prize. The way requires intentionality. The way requires strategy. The way requires DISCIPLINE. It is NECESSARY in order to grow. At the end of it all you have to ask yourself, what you gone do? Or as I like to say, “How you gone Act?” You have enough information to start the process, you have EVERYTHING YOU NEED when you stop letting excuses get in the way of you getting started.
So as my PASTOR said this past Sunday JUST DO IT!
Until next time!
Love Always
